Agents dispatched to investigate observation targets ████.████ and ██████.██████ off the coast of M████ have been recalled, and have filed operational closure reports. The target, described as an █████ which seemingly wandered in and out of the visible spectrum, has vanished from all observational equipment.
Continued inquiry has yielded negative results. Scattered reports of a Fairey Swordfish following and observing the target have also ceased, having vanished alongside the primary subject. The local populace laments the disappearance of a competent pilot and delivery person, but also celebrates the re-opening of specific western recreational waters, now that the intermittent interruption is gone.
FURTHERANCE
Final observational readings imprinted on stationed equipment have been deciphered to be a 6 tone melody. No meaning has been established, and no matches to existing musical references have been found. The instrument used to create the tone, and the nature of the sound remains a mystery, and currently matches the closest with paleolithic era instrument, though not quite.
SQ Division specialists have commented that it will likely take a long time to decrypt the embedded meaning. Perhaps years.
