Background:
Regional tourist ferries off the coast of ████████ reported disruptions in service transporting passengers to and from ██████ ██████, due to increased traffic from commercial barges through the straight of ███-███████.
Nautical traffic control in the area have received notices from freighters of nocturnal illuminations along the banks of ██████ ██████, and have been adjusting course to avoid potential hazards.
Satellite luminance measurements failed to corroborate reports, and Agents were dispatched to investigate the location for potential incursions.
Description:
Field Agents █████ and ████ made landfall at ██h██ UTC on ██/██/██ to begin their investigation. Local fauna proved to be a significant impediment, and as a natural barrier to ingress to the inner factory █████. As reported by Agent █████, Agent ████ had been assigned to scout a pathway through the forest, but was found hours later rolling on the ground, covered in ███████, with handfuls of feed purchased from local dispensers. Agent ████ has been issued a field censure per Observer █████’s direction.
███████ remained a deleterious, and irresistibly cuddly factor for the remainder of the expedition. Proceeding further into the ruins ███████ ████████ ████████ █████ ███████████████ █████████ ██████████ ███████████████ ██████ ████████████████ ███████ ████████ ██████████████ █ ███ ██████████████████ ████████ ███████████ ██████████████ ███████████ ████████ ███████ ██████ ████ ██ ███████ █████ ████ ██ ██████████ █████████ ███████ ████████ ███████████
Service pathways snaked through the forest, causing agents to quickly lose their bearings. Time indexing in Agent reports from this period lack accuracy, with accounts varying wildly between hours and months. However a consistent point of convergence occurs as the █████ █████ a series of mirrors along the pathway.
█████ ██ ████ █████ █████ █████ █ ██ ███. Instruments fail to account for the reflected individual in the mirrors, however Agents who successfully followed the harmonic resonance being channeled through the glass have corroborated reports of a “howling”, guiding them to a point of convergence.
Agents successfully guided by the sound reflected in their instruments found their way to a cape, and an abandoned ██████. A cool light emanating from the lantern appeared to cast ███ █████████.
Field reports from the two Agents on site diverge from this point into a series of petty arguments, as the investigation team attempted to assemble observation instruments. Agent ███ accused Agent █████ of ruining their vacation. Agent █████ accuses Agent ████ of making a mess of their inaugural field operation. Both lead investigators have submitted disciplinary action addendums, aimed at one another, which can be found in section ██████ █████ ███████ ████████ ████ █████.
Incident Report:
██████ ██████’s tourist and hospitality board have filed a complaint with DOMA, attaching an account of Field agents haphazardly assembling “dangerous equipment” near a historical building. Descriptions of the equipment match those of a Torus Extra-Dimensional Analysis Array ███-████-█. The equipment is described to have been directed at the structure, and having emitted a significant burst of sound. The timestamp associated with this incident coincides with a marked spike in Torus activity in scanning sector ██-████.
Following this burst the lighthouse crumbled, partially collapsing, and extinguishing the lantern. Local workers wrote in the incident report that DOMA Agents hastily packed up the equipment before vacating the area, though not before leaving behind several identifying documents.
The hospitality board has demanded restitution for the demolition of the lighthouse.
Addendum:
Observer Agents have been dispatched to verify claims of latent illumination in the ruins of the structure. Formal investigation is ongoing amidst litigation.Agents ████ and █████ have been re-assigned to CS division.
